Josie is getting older, but not much bigger. She has fallen below the 25% and closer to the 10% at her last check up. She is weighing in at a mere 20 lbs - 10 oz. She is only 10 oz. past the minimum weight allowance for a forward facing car seat. Just over two feet tall Josie is 29 1/2 inches. Doc is not at all concerned, she said that she is eating and developing just fine. She said and I quote "if she is still falling off the charts at her 18 -month appointment, then we will just have to add some more butter to her diet" On the other hand Josie's language skills are growing nicely she is now saying: Hi, Louie (Pronounced : LOOOO -EEEEE) , Mom, Sit (pronounced: shit) , Amy, Nice (pronounced: Ni), and sometimes dad. She is trying hard to say many other words, what she can not say, she finds a way to communicate to us. Josie understands and comprehends so much of what we say. It is time for us to be careful about what we say out loud, she is quick to try and imitate. Josie is quite the jokester, laughing and joking when ever she can. Other milestones, include eating with a fork or spoon, running , and diapering every doll in the house!

BUTTER!!!
Haha- you saw Dr Hugen. She said the same thing when Ky fell off the chart. We ended up adding lots of avocados and Pediasure shakes.
